Senior Year Events

All Events noted below are student-only events unless they are noted with an asterisk.

Wednesday, May 27th - Red Sox Game

Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Seniors should meet at HHS at 4:30 pm. The buses are scheduled to depart Fenway at 9:15PM and should return to HHS approximately 10:00PM

Bus assignments will be alphabetical, but students can sit with anyone within the sections at the game

Friday, May 29th - Senior Sunset Event

Senior Sunset Event between 5:30 - 7:30pm behind the Middle School. Students will have dinner, play lawn games and sign a class flag, all while spending time together as a class. This event is free and open to all seniors.

Monday, June 1st - Senior Recognition Breakfast

9:00am in the HS cafeteria. Sponsored by The Spoon
Specialty awards, yearbook distribution and signing, create nametags for graduation walk, and cap & gown pickup. Important: Students must return all textbooks and pay any remaining fees in MySchoolBucks to receive their cap and gown.

Tuesday, June 2nd - Boat Cruise

Boston Boat Cruise. Meet in the atrium at 3:00PM. Buses will depart HHS at 3:30 pm. Buses will return to HHS by 9:30PM .

Suggested Attire: casual dresses, nice pants, shirt, tie, sandals, or nice shoes. Wear comfortable shoes. High heels are not recommended as the boat does not allow anyone to go barefoot at any time, so prepare accordingly. 

  • Bus assignments will be alphabetical/ No drinks are allowed on the bus

Wednesday, June 3rd - Graduation Walk

  • Meet in the senior parking lot at 9:00 AM

  • Wear graduation gowns (no caps)

  • Walk through Marathon, Hopkins, and the Middle School

  • Parents are encouraged to line the sidewalks, cheer, and take photos

Thursday, June 4th - Graduation Rehearsal

  • Meet at Field 3 (football field) by 9:45 AM

  • Rehearsal begins at 10:00 AM

  • No caps or gowns needed

  • Mandatory for all seniors attending graduation

  • Free Ice Cream Truck treats after rehearsal

Friday, June 5th - Graduation*

  • Students arrive by 5:00 PM and meet on the turf field

  • Families may take seats starting at 5:00 PM

  • The ceremony starts at 6:00 PM and will conclude by 7:30 PM

  • Each graduate is allotted 6 seats

  • Additional seating for larger families: away bleachers, end zone area (bring chairs/blankets)
